Our Story

Our Washington, D.C. local youth face enormous challenges. The communities within our Nation’s Capital have among the worst high school graduation, poverty, and delinquency rates in the country.

The Youth Leadership Foundation reaches these high-potential youth in their formative years, providing a comprehensive virtue curriculum, supportive mentoring program, and tutoring services to ensure they reach their full potential.

Over 90% of youth participants say that YLF increases their confidence and motivation, and over 90% of parents say their child’s personal character has improved because of their participation in YLF.
